The end has just arrived

Now that the end of this adventure has arrived,I just need to say some things.

When I first came here,I thought this will be the most disgusting vacations in my life but then I met my roommate Anna and a crazy dynamic girl,Joy.That changed my life here.I stopped seing QW as a punishment because of those 2 girls. My dayly life just get better with them and then I met Clement,Arnaud and Paul,3 really funny boys.In less than a week we were like brothers and sisters, like if we have met each other for a whole life.We were always doing things together,if we had to go to the bathroom(i know it's kind of rude)we went together, crying together watching movies like Twilight, eating KIWIS together...After those two first week i realise that i have to keep in touch with them,it's not a good bye ,it's a see you soon. And of course I felt in love with a guy which I only start talking with at the end of the last week.

So let's talk about the secong week.As my closest friends had already left,Anna my bestfriend here and me we made some new friends.Well the bestfriends of Anna,Ines which is one of the prettiest and stylish girls I have never met had come.We met Elisa who is living today. But as I just said,I absolutly will meet her in Belgium because she is a fantastic girl.

What I really want to say is that I have met one of the most (soory but i don't have the perfect word for her)in the world and of course i will still being in contact with her,Anna I LOVE YOU.

I MISS MY FRIENDS!

Daily life in the Tudor

As the average life expectancy was just 35 years,I will live my life really dangerously.Of course I will have been a rich woman from the royal family and I will have lived in a big chateau with servants everywhere..Well there was not much to do so I will loved to read, horse riding and may be partying.Back in that century, people used to marry by convenience and not because of love but that won't be my case at all!But I really preffer to live in this century because is much easier..that's all!

My favourite film

I want to talk about my favourite film which is Casablanca, but it is in black and white because it is a really ancient film.Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz, starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid.Set during World War II, it focuses on a man torn between, in the words of one character, love and virtue. He must choose between his love for a woman and helping her and her Resistance leader husband escape from the Vichy-controlled Moroccan city of Casablanca to continue his fight against the Nazis.Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) is a bitter, cynical American expatriate in Casablanca. He owns and runs "Rick's Café Américain", an upscale nightclub and gambling den that attracts a mixed clientèle of Vichy French and Nazi officials, refugees and thieves.
The reason I really like this movie is because of the plot, the love always win even if the end is not happy and i really love the way the characters are dressed..

Another Monday

Well, now that our friends have left,I wanna say something..
When I arrived here,I thought that this month will be a nightmare because of the weather and the classes, but when you just have started to meet deeply the people and like them really much they just leave i swear it is awful, everything and i really mean everything here at Queenswood makes me remember them, each place, each joke..so now they have left and we have to make new friends i find it horrible because you don't want to forget them.I am in the Pro Tennis the whole month and I have made some friend there with who I played, now with who I am gonna play with?Something I have to tell is that I couldn't do it really well because definitely I don't know how to play with boys and even worse with A guy..
I just want to let them know that even if they are gone,we miss them and we will miss them.

My daily life here at Queenswood.

Unfortunatly we have to wake up at 7:15 with a horrible voice "GIRLS!It's time to wake up!!!"every morning,I think anybody do it and we stay longer sleeping but they always come back 10 minutes later.Anna,my roommate and me always wake up half an hour later because I swear it's impossible to do it.At 8 o'clock we have to be absolutely in the dinning hall. The classes start at 9 o'clock sharp til 5:35 in the afternoon,it's quite hard and it's like coming back to school but we have to do it.After dinner I go to the pro tennis course where we play for 1 hour and a half. Then we go to our common room to watch Step up one and two,we have a shower and then we go to sleep.THAT IS A TIPYCAL DAY AT QUEENSWOOD!

First trip to London.

Yesterday, all the senior classes went to London, first to have a general view of the main monuments in the city. There was a guide who talk us about the London's history,Queen Victoria,Prince Albert,...We went to see the Parlament and the Big Ben,the Prime Minister home,Saint James Park and Buckingham Palace. This was not my first time in London because my parents lived there for a few years and the didn't sell the house so we go there in every season.
Next visit we went to the British Museum,I have already been there too but what I found quite interesting and I found it great was the African room what I haver never visited. We spent there like 2 hours and I think we had time enough to have an idea about the museum.

about me..

Hey!I am Paloma from Madrid(Spain),i am 16 years old. This is my first time in Queenswood and my second day here,i am quite enjoying it here.So i have been studying english since i was 8 at school and now i go to the british council in Madrid.I don't find it really difficult 'cause it is actually my second language 'cause i go to a franch school.Fist,I came here because my mother wanted it,i really wanted to go to UCLA or UCSD,some universities in California to do photography and a surfing course 'cause i love it,it's awesome! Now i found Queenswood quite interesting and the people i met here are really nice with me.What I think it is completly different than in Spain is that we have lunch at 1 o'clock instead of 2:20 as in Spain and dinner at 6 instead of 9:30,so I am always hungry!Today I start my tennis course,I have been playing tennis for 9 years so I am quite good at it and i really like it.
